I wanted to explore a style and product category I haven’t done before. After searching some cosmetic ads and a trip to Target I found my inspiration. I was excited to try this bright, clean, bold & colorful style, which was quite different from my typical realistic and moody renders.

This is a design I’ve been thinking about since 2015 watching Kimmy Schmidt and she’s handed an iPhone and she exclaims “Wow! Is this a Macintosh?”

We’ve all stopped at a gas station and debated if you could hold it till the next gas station…

This week’s @renderweekly challenge is to push the boundaries of the new 3D Paint tool in Keyshot 11. I was looking for something unique that others wouldn’t have done, and I wanted to really grime something up. I had fun scribbling, scuffing, griming, grunging, and moistening.

When I started I didn’t think I’d actually post this, but I had too much fun not to post!

Here’s a render I’m proud of because most people wouldn’t assume it wasn’t real. I was given actual footage and asked to insert the 3D model and show the different mounting options. The reason this wasn’t done with the real battery was because they had a hard time not moving it too much between the different variations. It was fun to match the real footage as best I can.
